Comic goes here.

...Darn. Had I've realized beforehand that this was Concession #42, I would have made it a suitable Douglas Adams references. Oh well. No one caught the first one, so I guess it would have been lost on some of you anyways.

The real challenge of today's comic (apart from finishing it on time, which I almost didn't) was finding two opposing bands. That is... U2 was a no-brainer because I hate them (their new stuff, anyways), but I needed to find a metal band that wasn't mainstream enough as to appear stereotypical.
Now that I think about it, I'm not sure how many readers have even heard of Soilwork... If you're a metal fan, I do suggest you look them up.

Reading my little rss-feed news this evening brought me to this story which talks about how the government may soon take wolves off the endangered species list, as they've bounced back rather nicely recently. This sounds like good news, but it's not, because according to that story, there are a lot of states that will re-legalized wolf hunting as soon as they can if such a thing happens.

I'm not preaching to you, or calling for action. I just thought some of you might want to know, that's all.

Today's Randomly-Generated Character

Anthony

Species: Bat

Gender: Male

Sexuality: Homosexual

Religion: Church of Gaia

Anthony is a generally-outgoing individual, often cited as easily making friends with just about anyone (except Joel, it seems).
He is also a very frequent rape victim.

No one is exactly sure why, Anthony has the talent of turning otherwise kind, harmless people into rather animalistic rape artists. They always repent and apologize afterwards, and it happens so frequently that Anthony has stopped caring. He had been raped that morning, in fact, by a slim little fox boy, and in a few days, it was entirely likely that Joel would rape him too.
